Transactions


Transaction can be accessed from Menu > Transactions.


In this chapter we will briefly discuss about the functions that are available under Transaction menu (as below):

Note : In Just Billing Application features like Requisition order, Goods received, and Stock transfer are available for organisation which are connected to multiple branches.

Except Billing and Estimation screen, all the other screen contain two common icons, which are:


1. Example of how to search a record?

  1. Search - From the search field one can quickly retrieve a record on the page.


Say you are on the Invoices page.Click on the search icon and enter the number of the Invoice in the input text field. The matching record will be retrieved in the top of the list. You can search using customer name to fields.

The process to search for records is same in all other transaction pages in Transactions.


2. How to sort a list of records?

Sort - You can sort a list of records displayed in a page based on various parameters.


Say, you are in the Invoice page. You can sort the view based on Amount ascending or descending and Date ascending or descending to sort the records.


  • To sort the Invoice records, tap the sort icon , which expands the sort options.
  • Tap the option according to which you would like to sort the invoices.


The process to sort records is same in all other transaction pages.

3. How to filter a list of records?

Filter - You can filter a list of records displayed in a page based on various parameters.


Say, you are in the Invoices page. You can filter the view based on Date type, From date, To date and Status.


ascending or descending order, ledger ascending or descending.


  • To sort the Invoice records, tap the filter icon , which expands the filter options.
  • Select Date type from Invoice date, Due date, and Modified date.
  • Select from date of invoice
  • Select from to date of invoice
  • Select from status like new, hold, due, completed and cancelled.
  • Then click on OK to filter the records.
