Stock Transfer out


This feature is available only when an organisation has multiple branches.


This feature will allow stores (devices running JB Windows) to send goods from one branch to another branch with in the same organisation against an requisition order. Sometimes in Multi chain stores will have stock availability in one branch and the same product is required in another store. In this case the branch who raise an requisition order based on RO the other branch will do stock transfer to the branch.


  • Once an requisition order is raised there is a stock transfer out is initiated from the other branch.
  • Then the branch which is collecting the stock can do Goods received against stock transfer.
  • Once the stock is received by the branch automatically the stock gets updated. Similarly inventory gets update when stock transfer out is done.


How to process Stock Transfer out ?


Assume there are two branches - HY1, which is the Retail Store and HY2). In this case, we will be describing how we can track transfer of stock from HY2 to HY1 branch against requisition order raised by HY1.


1. Login to Just Billing Application of HY2 branch, and navigate to Masters > Transactions > Stock Transfer

2. List of previous Stock Transfers are available on Left pane

3. Click on ADD button to initiate Stock transfer

4. Select the Requisition order No against which stock transfer you are doing.

5. Enter the quantity that of the product that you are transferring

6. Save the details

7. Stock transfer out against requisition order has been created

Note :

1. Map the product to both branches - HY1 and HY2.
2. Ensure that the product has been synced to the HY2 branch as well.
