From this page, users can View, Add and Edit the list of product categories (see figure 1).
In this section you can see how to Add and Edit a product categories.

How to create a new Product Category ?
To create a new product category, you need to log into Just Billing Application in your desktop.
1. Navigate the page to from Menu > Masters > Product Categories (see figure 2).
2. Click on + Add, Enter product category name
3. Select Category Type as Item from (Item,Service and Asset)
4. Select Discount rules and parent category if any
5. Enter the description of the product category if any
6. Then Save the details

7. On saving, the product category reflects in the JB Windows application under the product categories page.

Note: Product categories added from Just billing application will get synced to JB cloud Back office by Auto Sync.
How to edit a Product Category ?
1. Navigate the page to from Menu > Masters > Product Categories.
2. Select a product category from list of product categories available
3. Click on Edit, Enter the details need to be Edited/ Updated
4. Then Save the details
5. On Saving, the product category page is updated and reflects in JB Windows application under product categories page.
How to search a Product Category ?
1. Place the cursor on search field
2. Enter the Product Category name so that it will filter the results
3. Select the Category from the filtered results
Fields in this page are :
- Category name : ( From this option you can enter the product category name )
- Category type : ( From this option you can select category type from Item, Service and Asset )
- Discount rules : ( From this option you can select discount rules )
- Parent category : ( From this option you can select the parent category )
- Description : ( From this option you can enter the product category description )
